The Role:
The Sales Executive Role reports to the Managing Director (or his delegate). The post holder is responsible for supporting the sales function and responding to customer enquiries. The postholder will provide an exceptional level of customer service and support purchasing of stock as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service and sales support to all SSL customers
- Responding to customer enquiries through multiple channels (Phone, email, social media etc.)
- Generating quotes
- Processing sales orders
- Sending enquiries to suppliers, negotiating prices and placing order for stock and trade
- Dealing with post-sales issues such as complaints, re-orders etc
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication skills including phone manner
- Strong Numeracy skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong customer service with a good phone manner
- Being personable, develop business relationships with customers
- Organised with ability to prioritise
- Being able to identify new opportunities and having good judgement regarding which enquiries to follow up on and which to regret
